I connect brands by finding the right words and coming up with bright ideas.

I’m Allie, an ACD-level writer and strategist with over ten years’ experience in branding and advertising.

I’ve worked in freelance and perm roles at places like DixonBaxi, Sonder & Tell, Shelter (winner of The Drum’s In-House Creative Team of the Year), Frog, Havas and Wunderman Thompson.

Been a judge at the 2025 Brand Impact Awards, and a guest lecturer and judge at the University of West London.

And earned a WiM Brand Writing award, Drum Social Purpose award, Design for Good award, and a place in the Creative Review Annual 2023 for my own work. None of which compared to Mel C calling one of my campaigns: “Absolutely brilliant, that”.

As well as for brands, I write poetry, prose and personal essays, and have published in Fault Magazine, T’art Press, Sonora Review, Playbutch! and Femmesocial.

When not writing, you can find me playing guitar, with my football team, Chaos FC, or active in the London trans/queer community.
